Into the garden I go on this Saturday. I'm picking out the weeds and clipping bad leaves away. Not too many bad leaves.
I added some more top soil (about a 40lb bag's worth) to each plant area (9 of them). I tilled the ground... not sure what this does, but The Wife recommended it. I also gave them some more micracle-gro.
I also put on some Bug Stop on the plants to keep the bugs away. Apparently, little mites have been getting into my plants. This should fix them.
Well, those are definately flower buds that are starting between some of the leaf stems. And the little curly "sprout vines" are here and there. Have to see what happens to them.
Now the thing I didn't notice from the outside of the garden that I DID notice on the inside. The vines of the plants are "reaching" and "Spreading". On at least two of the plants, the vines are really pushing forth away. Maybe this is what people were telling me, the pumpkin vines take over the garden. Hey that works for me, maybe the weeds won't effect them then.
"The leader" is no longer recovering, he looks stronger with his stem thickening and he has little flower buds as well.
