Lots of rain lately... we had a torrential downpour the night before and I think more hail fell... hard to see because of the darkness. Lots of wind too... the wind uprooted our patio umbrella, so it had to be pretty strong.
I think some of the leaves got damaged by it. The plants still appear to be vining along the base of the garden. The flower buds are rising up. All looks okay considering the storms we've had.
The leader is still growing but he's not growing as fast as the others. If the vines from the others keep taking over, we may to remove him to let the others live.
The leftover plants that are on the compost pile aren't doing well. They are looking more drained and less healthy than before. Where once they were thriving, now they are dying. It could be because animals have gotten to them finally. What a turn-around in comparison.
