Okay, either I'm seeing things or the female flowers fruit is getting slightly bigger. I guess this means I've got some pumpkins on the way! Yep, these fruits didn't shrivel and die... they look bigger than yesterday.
Lots of rain again today, which should be a good thing.
I'm actually seeing a few of the vines branch away from the ground and yet are trying to grow secondary roots. I guess I need to put more soil in the garden area. I'll do that this Saturday, hopefully I can find some high phosphorus fertilizer to give them for their blooming period.
Speaking of blooms, I've found yet another female flower getting ready to open. I finally am able to tell when they are mature... they get big and orange around the bud in the evening. So, I'm sure tomorrow morning it will be open. I'll take a peek and see if the bees are doing there job again.
