The garden has really blown up now. I've got vines here there and everywhere. The couple days of sun must have done the plants some good.
I spent Sunday morning trimming dead flowers and useless vines that had no females on them. I think the powdery mildew is under control.
I found a new pumpkin! It was completely covered in a mess of vines toward the back row of the garden. I mean it is growing pretty well in there. It is suspended by vines and looks very good. Since it was a shock to find it... I'll call it "Shocker Mae"
I had another female flower fully mature... so I helped to pollinate it. If all of these flowers become pumpkins, I'll have about 9 of them!
